NEET 2020 Application Form Correction:: Check Dates & Correction Procedure – NTA NEET 2020 Application Form Correction window will open soon via online mode. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test popularly known as NEET is a national level medical entrance exam. Previously, this exam was conducted by CBSE but from 2020 onwards, NEET will be conducted by NTA. NTA stands for National Test Agency. The exam which was conducted offline will be conducted online or computer-based. Here we are sharing the information regarding NEET 2020 Application Form Correction.

The candidates who are willing to appear for NEET 2020, will have to fill the NEET 2020 Application Form. Candidates can fill NEET Application Form from 1st October 2020 for the February exam and in March for the May exam. We have already shared the detailed procedure of How to Apply for NEET 2020 Application Form. It happens many times that we make mistakes while filling up these forms. So NTA will provide candidates with a NEET Application Form Correction period where students can make changes to their forms. Note that this is ONE TIME CORRECTION OPPORTUNITY where candidates can make changes to data which affects their merit.

NEET Application Form Correction Date

The Application form release date has been fixed as 1st October 2018 for February exam. The form filling will continue till month-end after which NEET Application Form Correction window will open. This is an opportunity for candidates to make changes if any mistake has been made. Here we are sharing the information regarding form correction dates.

NEET 2020 Application Form Correction Details

The candidates are expected to fill out the forms carefully. But even if there has been the mistake while filling up the form, the candidates will be allowed one-time correction. Here we are sharing the details which will help candidate know how and where they can make necessary corrections. The candidates will only be allowed to make corrections in particular fields and scanned images listed below.

Identification Identity:

  • Candidates who have filled their application with Identity proof other than Aadhar Card which includes Passport, Bank Account Number, Ration Card will be allowed to add their Aadhar Number or Aadhar Card Enrollment Number.
  • Candidates who have filled their forms with Aadhar Card will not be allowed to make the correction.

Date of Birth:

  • Candidates who have filled their application with Identity proof other than Aadhar Card which includes Passport, Bank Account Number, Ration Card will be allowed to make the correction in their Date of Birth.
  • Candidates who have filled their forms with Aadhar Card will not be allowed to make the correction in the DOB.

Gender:

  • Candidates who have filled their application with Identity proof other than Aadhar Card which includes Passport, Bank Account Number, Ration Card will be allowed to make the correction in their gender.
  • Candidates who have filled their forms with Aadhar Card will not be allowed to make the correction in their gender.

Parent’s Name (Father & Mother):

  • All candidates are allowed to make corrections if any.

State Code of Eligibility:

  • All candidates are allowed to make the correction in State Code of Eligibility.
  • The candidates from Assam, J & K and Meghalaya will be available to make changes to their state code of eligibility. Candidates residing in states other than these 3 can make changes only if they have Aadhar Card Number or Aadhar Enrollment Number.
  • Candidates belonging to J & K state can make changes in the status of Self Declaration.

Category:

  • All Candidates are allowed to make corrections.

Disability Status:

  • All Candidates are allowed to make corrections.

Medium of Question Paper:

  • All Candidates are allowed to make corrections to the medium of Question paper.

Examination Center:

  • All Candidates are allowed to make corrections.

Correction in Scanned Images:

If the candidates have uploaded wrong signature or photograph, NTA will alert the candidates by sending them SMS or email. Candidates will have to re-upload the scanned images within 3 days.

How to Make Correction in NEET 2020 Application Form

NEET Form Correction Procedure: The corrections in the NEET Application Form can be made easily by following the simple steps:

  1. Visit the official site of NEET (www.nta.ac.in)
  2. Click on “Candidate Login”.
  3. Enter the registration number and password to login.
  4. Link for correction will be provided. Do click on that link for making corrections.
  5. Correct the necessary field.
  6. Candidates are advised to fill the corrections carefully. Remember that this is a ONE TIME OPPORTUNITY.
